Presentation Guidelines
Each scientific session at the “Wymiary” Conference follows the same format:
- Presentation time: 7 minutes for presentation + 3 minutes for discussion.
- Maximum number of participants: 20 per session.
- Presentation format: multimedia (.pptx or .pdf), delivered in either Polish or English.
- Technical requirements: presentations must be submitted in advance to the email address provided by the organizers. If time limits are exceeded, participants must immediately move to the conclusion.
- Discussion: All conference participants may ask questions after each presentation.
- Evaluation criteria:
- scientific value of the work,
- presentation skills and structure,
- time management,
- quality of discussion,
- original contribution to the project.
Original Research Session – Presentation of Scientific Studies
This session is dedicated to students and doctoral candidates presenting original research projects related to psychiatry, psychology, or related fields. Presenters will discuss their research question, methodology, results, and conclusions, with a focus on clinical relevance and scientific impact.
Evaluation Criteria:
- innovation of the research,
- scientific quality,
- practical relevance of results,
- clarity and structure of presentation.
Literature Review Session – Systematic Analysis of Knowledge
This session features comprehensive reviews of the current state of knowledge on selected topics related to mental health. It aims to highlight research gaps, organize scientific evidence, and foster further investigation.
Evaluation Criteria:
- scientific depth and relevance,
- clarity and logical organization,
- ability to synthesize complex topics,
- relevance for clinical practice or research.
Case Report Session – Learning Through Clinical Experience
Participants in this session will present exceptional clinical cases that posed unique diagnostic or therapeutic challenges. Presentations will emphasize clinical reasoning and problem-solving.
Evaluation Criteria:
- originality of the case,
- educational value,
- depth of clinical analysis,
- clear and coherent delivery.
Competition & Awards
Each scientific session includes a Research Competition judged by a qualified jury. Three top works will be awarded per session. Winners will receive:
- a material prize,
- a diploma including session title, authors, presenting author, supervisor, and placement.
Note on Sessions
The number and type of sessions may be adjusted depending on the number of abstract submissions. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to merge or expand sessions based on scientific content and submission volume. Updated information will be available on the conference website and social media.
